چکیده
Solvent exchange is a controlled process for dilution-induced phase separation. This work utilizes the solvent method to reveal effect of mixing dynamics on asphaltene precipitation under 20 different conditions using model system n-heptane and in toluene. The external between solution paraffinic strictly controlled. We employed high-spatial-resolution total internal reflection fluorescence microscope detect precipitates with resolution up 200 nm. A multiphysics used simulate evolution oversaturation pulse process. Based simulation results, we predicted flow rate, dimension, orientation microfluidic chamber, temperature surface coverage size distribution precipitates. predictions all factors corroborate experimental observations. Local concentration shear forces are found be two main reasons change caused by dynamics. However, influence thermodynamics more critical than as changes. Through combination studies, this illuminates significance transportation final morphology provides an in-depth insight into mechanism precipitation. smart may boost new formation without excessive consumption.

Prediction of Solvent Effect on Asphaltene Precipitation at Reservoir Conditions
The aim of the current study is to evaluate the effects of inhibitors or solvents on asphaltene precipitation under reservoir conditions. To this end, the interaction between live oil and solvent, and its side effects on precipitated/dissolved asphaltene were predicted via Miller’s entropy modified polymer solution theory under reservoir conditions. Then, the adjustable parameters of the model ...
متن کاملA Solution Model for Predicting Asphaltene Precipitation
Formation of asphaltene deposition during oil production, processing and synthesis is known as a fundamental problem of petroleum reservoir worldwide. Asphaltene is a petroleum fraction that can lead to increasing the operating costs in these industries. Variations in operational pressure, temperature and fluid composition are generally the significant cause of asphaltene precipitation. In ...
متن کاملAsphaltene Precipitation in Crude Oils: Theory and Experiments
The precipitation of asphaltenes in two Mexican crude oils was measured using a combination of high-pressure isothermal expansion and atmospheric titration with nalkanes. Experiments were carried out from the liveand tank-oil type of samples of the same crude oils. For the oils investigated, compositional data, precipitation phase diagrams, and bubble point pressures are reported. A theoretical...
متن کاملMolecular Thermodynamics of Asphaltene Precipitation in Reservoir Fluids
A pre®iously described molecular-thermodynamic framework, based on colloid theory, is used to correlate experimental asphaltene-precipitation data at high-temperature and pressure conditions. In this framework, asphaltenes and resins are represented by pseudopure components, and all other components in a crude oil are presented by a continuous medium that affects ®an der Waals attractions among...
